What is FOFAT? - Basically FOFAT is a free video review web site. We don't guarantee anything, but if we like your video we will create a web page for your video along with a short review. CGI stands for Computer Generated Imagery. She (Santa Fe Girl) is the only one who knows the answer to that question. All she can say is that what you see on the screen is nothing but a bunch of pixels and how the pixels got there she is not telling.

My vid com teacher used to say, if there are no plot what's the point? A video is like writing an essay, if the viewer gets bored within the first ten seconds, they probably wont' even watch the rest and switch to search something else. doesn't matter if she is CGI or not, a video with meaning is crap. sry to say that.

Is it real or is it CGI? I'm a computer graphics professional and I can tell you that there is no way a real human could move like that. It's got to be computer generated.

Attack of the Gravel Worm?

I awoke this morning to the sound of something slithering through the gravel outside my bedroom window. It was a sound that I had heard all night long, but I was too tired (and scared) to venture outside in the dark. Now the sun shining and my curiosity had grown greater than my fear. I step outside and the sunlight was blinding. I could feel my eyes contracting and straining to adjust. When my vision finally did adjust I could see something bright and silvery metallic just sitting there basking in the warm desert sun. What was it? My first guess was that it was just some type of man-made garbage that had blown into my yard from one of the many construction sites in my spread out, but sprawling city. Then I remembered the slithering sound that has disturbed my sleep. I went back inside to grab my broom so I could poke the metallic thing that lay on my gravel, but when I returned with broom in hand, the thing had vanished.

Sometimes they rotate in a way in the normal way like an automobile, but other times they rotate counter intuitive to what you would expect. In other words, it looks like the robot is sliding on ice and the wheels are just spinning in place. However, when you take a closer look at the wheel you can see that it's a bit more complicated than your standard tire.

I remember there used to be an expression that said something about the "Price of Rice in China" meaning that since rice was very popular in China that you could get a pretty good gauge on inflation or even on the economy on the whole just by checking the price of rice. I believe the same can be said for America and the Price of Gas. In many ways the price of gas is even a better gauge on the American economy than was rice prices in China. Most people just think about the direct travel expense when they think about gasoline prices, but the effect runs much deeper. When I say gas, I'm talking about every fuel that is made from petroleum, so that includes diesel, jet fuel, and heating oil. Therefore, high gas prices mean higher food prices, higher retail prices, and higher prices on virtually everything and anything you buy. For example, if your plumber drives a huge 4x4 heavy duty truck to get to your house he will have to charge you more for his service just to cover the gas it takes to drive his 8-10 mpg vehicle around town. Another example is Internet shopping. Your order still has to be delivered by truck and/or airplane, both of which use expensive petroleum based fuel.

This version features a new type of animation where the robots look more like their real life counter parts. And like all the BigDog vs Asimo videos, there is plenty of action can humor and it has a very explosive ending. Opps, I hope I didn't spoil the video. Asimo dances with pretty girl

Most people in the developed world have seen the Asimo Robot and he is quickly becoming a household name. In this latest video (4/1/2008) we see Asimo kick a ball and dance with the pretty Japanese Lady. I noticed that it took a long time for Asimo's assistant to place the ball in front of his foot. It made me wonder if she had to place it in a certain spot or if she was waiting for Asimo to sense the ball. Next, Asimo walks to the other side of the stage and does an about face. Then in a demonstration of balance, he lifts one leg into the air and makes little circles with the raised foot. He then switches legs and circles the other foot. When he is done with the leg exercises, he sprint across the stage. Finally, he ends the show with a cute little dance routine where he and the lovely assistant dance together.
